I’ve worked with Marek when we were both in the team that was preparing to launch a very unique and interesting project in the European online mediascape: download.chip.eu, Europe’s first multi-lingual download community, dedicated to users from 10 different countries and with content in as many languages.

The project was started by Chip Online, Germany’s biggest computer portal and one of the largest websites overall in this country. I was Online Manager for Chip Online in Romania at the time and Marek held a similar position at Chip Online in Poland. The workshops and brainstorming sessions we held, together with the participating country managers from Chip’s international teams, were always great for learning, advancing new ideas and generally having a great time.

I appreciated from the very beginning Marek’s very professional business approach and his experience in New Media, as well as his enthusiasm and dedication towards our project. I can honestly say that we had a good chance to learn from each other and bring a valuable contribution to shaping this very unique project.
