Malaysia is one of the most developed countries in Southeast Asia. Guests arriving this country should not have problems if during the journey they will want to use the Web.
Malaysia consists of the mainland, the northern part of Borneo, and many islands. Visiting each of these parts, both in the typical tourist places, including guesthouses, hostels and restaurants, I successfully used the wi-fi. However, the best transfer certainly is on mainland Malaysia. Not bad is also on the most famous islands. The wrongest regarding internet speed it’s on Malaysian part of Borneo (the Indonesian part of the so-called Kalimantan it’s even worse).
Even if you do not travel with a laptop, netbook, iPad or smartphone, you can find at least one computer in guesthouses or the hotels. Until now, traveling around Malaysia for a total of about two months, I never was in the place with any access to the Internet. This does not mean that such sites do not exist.
